The Client

Safety First Gerüstbau AG (SFG AG) is a professional scaffolding company based in Sissach, Basel-Landschaft, offering the full range of scaffolding solutions for construction, renovation, and specialist projects across the Basel and Baselland region. Their services include Fassadengerüste (facade scaffolding), Dachdeckergerüste (roofer scaffolding), Solargerüste (solar scaffolding), Hängegerüste (suspended scaffolding), Spenglergerüste (tinsmith scaffolding), and Flachdachgerüste (flat roof scaffolding) — a complete specialist offering for a demanding, safety-critical industry.

SFG AG already had a website. The design was strong — professional, visually well-executed, and aligned with their brand. The problem was everything underneath. The site was slow, technically unstable, and vulnerable. It looked good. It just didn’t work well enough to support a growing business.

They came to BeeDynamic with a clear brief: don’t change the design. Fix everything else.

The Problem: A Good Design on a Broken Foundation

This is a scenario BeeDynamic encounters regularly. A business invests in a well-designed website, but the technical execution underneath is rushed, poorly configured, or simply outdated. The visual result looks fine. The operational reality is not.

For SFG AG, the specific issues were:

Web Design Switzerland — The Rebuild

BeeDynamic’s mandate was precise: preserve the design exactly, rebuild the foundation completely. This is a different challenge from a full redesign — it requires surgical precision. Every visual element had to be reproduced pixel-perfectly while the underlying code, configuration, and infrastructure were rebuilt from scratch.

Platform: WordPress + Hello Theme + Elementor Pro

We rebuilt the site on WordPress with Hello Theme as the base — the most lightweight and performant foundation available — and Elementor Pro as the page builder. The existing design was rebuilt in Elementor with the same visual structure, typography, colour system, and component layout. To an external visitor, nothing changed. Under the hood, everything did.

Performance Optimisation

Performance was the first priority. We implemented:

• WP Rocket — page caching, browser caching, database optimisation, and CSS/JavaScript minification and deferral
• Image optimisation — all images converted to WebP format with proper compression and lazy loading
• Video hero — the existing full-screen video hero (SFG x FCB collaboration) was re-implemented with proper preloading and performance-safe configuration
• Minimal plugin footprint — only essential plugins retained, every non-essential dependency removed

The result: a site that performs 10x faster than its predecessor — directly improving both user experience and Google’s Core Web Vitals assessment.

Security Hardening

• HTTPS with HSTS (HTTP Strict Transport Security) headers configured
• WordPress login and admin area hardened against brute-force attacks
• File permissions and server configuration reviewed and corrected
• WordPress core, theme, and plugins updated and stabilised
• Automatic backup system configured for daily snapshots

SEO Structure Fixed

The SEO structural issues that had been suppressing organic visibility were corrected across the entire site:

• Meta titles and descriptions reviewed and optimised for each page
• H1-H6 heading hierarchy corrected throughout
• Canonical tags configured correctly — each page references itself
• Sitemap.xml generated and submitted to Google Search Console
• Robots.txt configured correctly
• Schema markup: LocalBusiness JSON-LD implemented for the company
• Google Analytics and Search Console verified and connected before go-live

These fixes don’t produce instant rankings — but they remove the structural ceiling that was preventing the site from ranking at all. Once Google can correctly crawl, understand, and index each page, organic visibility can begin to grow.

GDPR & Legal Compliance

• Cookie consent management rebuilt with a compliant banner and preference centre
• Privacy policy and legal pages reviewed for Swiss DSG and EU GDPR alignment
• Cookie-Richtlinie (cookie policy) and Datenschutz (privacy policy) pages implemented and linked correctly in the footer
• Accessibility statement added — addressing the accessibility gaps identified in the original site

Content Structure Preserved

The 7-service structure was preserved exactly: Fassadengerüste, Dachdeckergerüste, Solargerüste, Materialpodest, Spezialgerüste (Hängegerüst), Spenglergerüste, and Flachdachgerüste — each with its own detailed service description, use case list, and contact CTA. The Referenzen section with popup project galleries, the team section, and the contact form were all rebuilt with the same structure and content, now on a technically sound base.

The Result

sfg-ag.ch relaunched as the same website SFG AG had before — visually identical, trusted by their team and their clients — but rebuilt on a foundation that actually supports the business.
